Blackberry TinyBlack is a new compact blackberry, a unique of its kind summer blackberry variety. It is early fruiting, completely thornless with an extremely compact growth habit. In fact, it only grows up to 50cm in height. Thanks to its plant stature, TinyBlack is not only ideal for growing on the patio or balcony in pots, but also for growing in hanging baskets. It will give an abundance of berries, which have a traditional blackberry flavour – a perfect combination of sweet and sour.
On the new release, company director, Stefan Belakov, commented:
“When I first saw this variety, I thought – It is simply perfect! We are so delighted to have this new addition to our portfolio. There are a few good compact blackberries on the market, however they are normally Autumn fruiting, whilst you can enjoy TinyBlack during the summer months, fresh from the plant.
